* The Woodland Opera House will be opening the renovated City Hall Annex (520 Court Street) into the new home of their art theatre and dance studio educational program. This new facility will house 3 dance studios and will open in May. *The Woodland Farmers Market is celebrating their 20th year! The Market will start again on May 14th and will be on Main Street between Second and Third Street. Please contact Sonia about working with the Farmers Market. email@example.com
*July 1st will be a busy First Friday. With all the work that has been done to Main St. this will be a grand reopening of Main Street. There will be bands playing throughout Main Street, tours at the Opera house and State Theater and a slide show of Woodland project on First St along with normal First Friday events. We want to encourage businesses to stay open and encourage their customers to join in on the celebration.
*The City is working on updating the city general plan through 2035. The water service project will go live sometime in mid May, this will mean better water quality in Woodland. There will be a billboard going up soon that will highlight Woodland on I-5. This billboard will encourage visitors to eat, stay and stop in Historic Downtown Woodland.
